Introduction to World Whisky
Our Introduction to World Whisky Tasting is for newcomers and enthusiasts alike. Whisky is on the increase around the world with more and more countries producing splendid expressions and experimenting with new flavour combintions. We aim to highlight the regional styles and variances available from whiskies around the world. In this tasting, we cover the origins, production, and the maturation processes to gain an understanding of how the golden liquid ends up in our glasses. We then move on to taste 4 whiskies from each of the main whisky producing countries; including Scotland and Japan.
Premium Whisky Tasting
For a more luxurious and in-depth perspective, or if you feel already well acquainted with the basics of enjoying Whisky and wish to sample the more exclusive and uncommon examples of the Water of Life, our Premium Tasting leads you through the upper echelons of World Whisky; uncovering some of the nation’s rarest whiskies which share either an uncommon provenance or availability and a marked superiority of age; whilst still maintaining a diverse range of flavour and style, representative of each region.
Scotch Whisky Tasting
A unique and back to basics concept; our Taste of Scotland Whisky Tasting takes in an exciting and eclectic range of Scottish whiskies which help tell the story of Scotch Whisky’s evolution from an illicit and often untamed spirit to the celebrated, world-renowned and bourgeoning industry we know today. In this special tasting we cover all the key whisky producing regions which each, in their own merit, exude a wide spectrum of aromas and flavours born and shaped from the land the distilleries occupy.

Whisky is often overlooked as a drink accompaniment for a food pairings but in actual fact lends itself perfectly to an array of textures and flavours to become a match made in taste heaven. Hong Kong’s first and largest World Whisky celebration!
Once a year, whisky lovers come together to celebrate all things whisky with World Whisky Day and we, in Hong Kong, have one of the biggest parties in the world.
Malt Masters has been leading the front in World Whisky Day celebrations since 2014, bringing together limited and exclusive brands, the most unique and sought-after world whiskies and the happiest whisky lovers in Hong Kong.
Word Whisky Day is celebrated every year at the end of May. We are looking forward to the next one already.

Whisky Masters Programme
The Whisky Masters Programme is a Hong Kong-based whisky training course and experience conducted by the Malt Masters HK. Through the different programmes, each participant will receive the fundamentals to advance skills and knowledge needed on understanding and exploring the art of whisky. We are an independent programme that is unique in that we do not focus on one region or brand but we explore all the major contributing whisky countries all over the world.
The courses will cover the origins and history of whisky, the end to end production and maturation processes to ultimately discover what has elevated it to the luxurious golden drink that we know today.
We will take you on a journey of in-depth discovery and offer you a wealth of knowledge to start you on your whisky adventure. The programme is an interactive learning environment where we put a lot of focus on the nosing, tasting and overall sensory aspects of whisky. Whether you are just looking to broaden your knowledge, impress your friends or being on a career journey in the whisky industry, this course is the perfect launch-pad for you.
Whisky Club
Malt Masters first Whisky Club was held on World Whisky Day 2016 to commemorate and celebrate all things whisky. The Whisky Club is held every month featuring a different whisky related theme allowing everyone to explore new aromas and tastes that have never had before.
Our club is open to anyone that is interested in learning more about whisky and have a genuine appetite to experiment with new flavours. It’s even great for those enthusiasts that have been acquainted with the golden liquor for some time as we provide a platform to meet like-minded whisky aficionados. The Malt Masters whisky club encourages a laid back and casual environment where we can make friends and drink a few drams together with fellow whisky drinkers.
What’s great about our whisky club is that each month you will get to try up to 5 different whiskies for a small charge and that you can have as much as you can drink within the time or until the bottle runs out!
